Invitation to ACM-ICPC Japanese Alumni Group Winter Contest 2010

To teams that participate in ACM-ICPC World Finals 2010:

ACM-ICPC Japanese Alumni Group will host the JAG Online Practice Contest on January 24 which targets ACM-ICPC World Finals 2010. We are now calling for teams that participate in the contest.

DATE

  • Date: Sunday, January 24, 2010.
  • Time: The contest will start at 14:00 Japan Standard Time (UTC+9).

SCHEDULE

  • January 23, 0:00 JST - January 24, 0:00 JST -- Preparation
  • January 24, 14:00 - 19:00 JST -- Practice Contest

LANGUAGE

The problem statement and clarifications will be presented in English. The commentary is planned to be provided in English.

ELIGIBILITY

Teams participating in the ACM-ICPC World Finals 2010. Other motivated teams are also welcome, but please be very sure that this contest is intended for World Finals. The problem set will be far harder than other JAG's practice contests.

REGISTRATION

You have to do three things for participation: (a) acquire an M-Judge account, (b) make a reservation for the contest and then (c) fill in the registration form.

(a) acquire an M-Judge account

If you already have your M-Judge account, you can reuse it. Otherwise you should create a new one by the following steps:

  • Access to M-Judge ( http://m-judge.maximum.vc/ ).
  • Click "User registration".
  • Fill in the form.
  • Click "Register!"
  • Click the link in the verification mail.

(b) make a reservation for the contest

You have to make a reservation for the contest on M-Judge by the following steps:

  • Click "Contest".
  • Click the "Make a reservation" links for both "ACM-ICPC JAG Winter Contest 2010, Practice Session" and "ACM-ICPC JAG Winter Contest 2010".

(c) fill in the registration form

The registration deadline is Friday, January 23, 2010, 9:00 JST. Registration after the deadline will not be accepted.

FEE

Free of charge.

PARTICIPATION

  • All teams will use M-Judge ( http://m-judge.maximum.vc/ ), so please learn how to use it beforehand.
  • The submitted program will be compiled with gcc 4.1 (C, C++) and JDK 6 (Java).
  • All teams are expected to take part in the test session on the day before the contest (January 23). If you cannot participate on the session, please let us know the available date and time before January 23.
